I have an Intel Wireless 8265 that came pre-installed in a Thinkpad t480s and was looking at upgrading to an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 since they're the same interface and are both 2x2 antennas but I know when i owned previous Thinkpad's, the BIOS had a whitelist. Is this still the case or can I use a Intel 9260? Anyone test/try this yet and can confirm? Thanks!

Brand new machine.  Bought yesterday.  Inteal speakers not recognize.  No audio option options provided on settings screen.  Headphone jack gives no audio as well. Downloaded driver from Lenovo. Ran it.  Still has speaker in sys tray with red X and each time we try to troubleshoot, it just says restart.  Please help.  Otherwise, this goes right back to the store.
